🌊 SDI OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE 🌊

Register now for our upcoming SDI OW course this month! 
There's only 6 spots available so make sure you check the dates before you register. You must be able to attend all dates to complete the course.

What you need to do to register?

  1. Sign up as a Dive La Trobe member. If you are a current member go to step 2.
  2. Use your log in details to register for course.
  3. Register for course (Deposit $300 due at registration).


What's the price for the course?

The full price for current Dive La Trobe members is $600 (Membership is not included).

What are the pre-requisities to begin the course?

  1. Obtain your Recreational Dive Medical (not included in the course)
  2. Swim 200m using any stroke
  3. Tread water for 10 min after swim

Course inclusions

  • Scuba Dive Learning Program (SDI e-learning code)
  • Student logbook
  • 3 Shore dives
  • 1 Boat dive
  • Pool entry for the entire course 
  • Hire of all gear required for the course, including mask, fins, snorkel, weight belt and weights, BCD, wetsuit, boots, hood, regulators, safety markers (SMB) and tanks
  • All air fills for the entire course
  • SDI Open Water certification card
  • 1 Bonus boat dive to redeem and use after your course


Not included in the course

  • Dive Medical 
(IMPORTANT: Must have completed a Recreational dive medical with a registered Dive Doctor before the course commences).
Find qualified Doctors here: Dive Medical doctor list. If the doctor sees you as unfit to dive and fails your medical, your course fee will be refunded (excluding the already purchased SDI Learning program cost)
  • Accommodation for weekend (optional but highly recommended - costs will be informed closer to the final weekend)
  • Transport and parking fees (if applicable)
  • Food, drink and personal effects
